Bio: Jack Low was born in Lawrence, KS. Jack Low attended the University of Kansas and Johnson County Community College. While attending KU, he worked at pizza hut. Chef Low attended KU for 2 years and JCCC for 2 1/2 years. Chef Low, worked at Free State Brewing Company and Tellers Restaurant for 12 years previously to accepting the teaching position. Chef Low accepted the culinary teaching position when Chef Rick Martin left to start his own restaurant, Limestone Pizza, kitchen, bar. He asked Chef Low if he would enjoy teaching high schoolers at Eudora Desoto ED TEC. When Chef Low came into his new job, he made a new environment in the kitchen for the students. Chef Lows favorite dishes to make are beef and broccoli and sweet and sour meatballs over mashed potatoes. He also loves to make pasta from scratch and use the freshest ingredients.
